Memories are made of Y-Teen Dances, pumpkin raids, finally beating North, Sherry Thorn's parties, red and white striped shoe laces, track meets, student government day, Mr. Grayson's poetry notebooks, the teachers assembly for the Roosevelt Metro game, the jacks tournament, loafers, and madras shirts.
There are happy memories of the skit the 'Sr. girls put on for football season, surprise birthday parties at lunch, Friendship Day assemblies, crusing A & W and Lujans, blue and gold days', pep tags, the Roosevelt Metro game.
And then there, are the memories of grade school days, of Mrs. Guest's talent shows, square dancing in your socks, playing airplanes at recess, and the girls jumping rope and playing hopscotch, and Miss McFarland.
We'll never forget the team spirit, the majorettes and cheerleaders, battle cry, pep club buses, victory parties, and singing the alma mater, the Barn, the papermache devil, and the morning announcements we never heard.
All these things and many more highlight the fun, laughter, and occasional hard work we shared during our twelve years as . . .
