TodaySubmitted 12/7/03 For the first two years following high school I attended Anderson College in Anderson, Indiana. In 1968 I enlisted in the U.S. Navy and trained to become part of a new rating called Oceanographic Systems Technician (OT). I left the active duty Navy in 1979 and returned to college at Warner Pacific College in Portland, OR. for my last two years, majoring in Church Music and Vocal Music Performance (class of 1981).
Following college I returned to the Navy. I retired from the Navy in 1990 and went to work as a computer programmer for the Christian Broadcasting Network in Virginia Beach, VA. I became the Data Base Administrator for CBN and worked there for nearly five years. In 1995 I accepted the job as Information Systems Manager for the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney's in Virginia Beach. In July 2000 I moved to a newly created position position as the Administrator and Lotus Domino Architect for a statewide computer network administered by the Commonwealth's Attorney's Services Council, a Virginia State agency located on the campus of the law school at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. In 1971 I married Debbie Gallion, Rootstown, OH. We have two daughters, Crista (1973) and Beth (1975). Crista is married to Chris Thomson and they have a son, Ryan (1997). Update 6/22/04 I now have two grandsons, the new addition is Hunter Jordan Thomson born in June 2004. Update 10/16/06 Just a small addition to my bio. We now have a beautiful little granddaughter to add to the list. Emma Louise Thomson was born on August 18, 2006. That brings the total to 3. |
