Date: January 25, 1991

William E. Pinkston, 43, formerly of Tallmadge, died Jan. 24, 1991.

Mr. Pinkston was a pattern maker with Mogadore Patterns and, prior to that, worked 13 years at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. He was born and lived his life in the Tallmadge-Mogadore area. He served during the Vietnam Conflict, was a 1966 graduate of Tallmadge High School, served with the Tallmadge Auxiliary and also with the Police Reserve of Mogadore.

He is survived by his parents, Coleman and Betty Pinkston of Tallmadge; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Randy Phillips of Uniontown; brother, Howard of North Highlands, Calif.

Funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., with Rev. Rory Wineka officiating. Burial at Tallmadge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. TODAY. In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Calvary Bible Church Missions, 4520 S. Arlington St., Uniontown 44685.

Billy was a long time friend from childhood on. As an adult he had quite a few health problems. I remember visiting him once when he was being treated for Hepatitis.

Billy passed away on 24 January 1991 of cancer. He is buried next to his parents in the Tallmadge Cemetery.
