Rememberance by Linda (Leone) Papoi
May 2005

Keith's parents and my parents have been friends since we were in 5th grade at Dunbar Elementary School where Mrs. McCann taught us for two years. We grew up together along with his sisters Barbara (younger) and Becky (older), enjoying the kind of childhood you wish your grandchildren had today: backyard plays with rag bag costumes, riding bikes on I-76 before it was open and down Broadview hill, helping his dad make real potato chips, sleeping deep with our eyes closed.

His wonderful life ended one night about 1:00am at the corner of Newton Street and Goodyear Boulevard when he started through the intersection with the green light and a car coming at the light to Keith's left tried to beat the red light. He was hit broadside at high speed and died instantly. He was 21.

Keith is no longer with us. He can't update him own page so if you have other memories or recollections about him that you wish to share, please email them to
