Name Now: Renee Hurd Married Bob Myers (same class) in 1969 - we both completed University of Akron. We had one son, Brent, who is now 27 years old. Brent will be Dr. Myers in April, 2006 - after graduation from Logan School of Chiropractic Medicine. He was married 3 years ago to Dana - have two grandsons, Brady, born November 11, 2004 and Carter, born November 8, 2008. Bob and I divorced after 12 years of marriage. I remarried in 1983 to Jim Hurd - acquirying 3 step-children and 6 step-grandchildren. Jim just retired from The Hoover Co. - I worked for many years at The Firestone Tire & Rubber Company - I was lucky to be hired as a secretary in the Tallmadge School District and have been office manager at Tallmadge Middle School for 23 years. I haven’t decided when I’ll retire yet – great staff and great place to work! Jim and I love to travel, garden, read, hike, go on one-day trips, find new restaurants, shopping, etc. - just enjoy each day. Would love to hear from fellow classmates! |
